Product overview
Bostik Dampfix Gold waterproofing membrane system is specifically formulated for application on graded substrates that provide positive falls to drainage outlets. Overlaying tiling systems must comply with Guide to the Installation of Ceramic Tiles - AS3958.1
This is a 2-coat system applied over primed porous and non-porous substrates. It is not recommended as a membrane system in immersed applications (such as pools or spas).

- May be tiled directly using approved Bostik ASA tile adhesives
- Reinforced with clump free fibres

- High resistance to detergents and bleach

- Can be applied to damp substrates, i.e. no free water
Recommended Uses
- As a waterproofing membrane to internal wet area shower, bathroom, kitchen, laundry & toilet areas to AS/NZ 3740
- As a waterproofing membrane to external balconies, rooftops & podium levels to AS/NZ 4654.2
- All applications to be covered by tile or other surface wearing and protective systems
- Suitable for concrete; cement rendered masonry; FC sheeting; water resistant plasterboard; and structural plywood (Type A Stamped “PAA JAS-ANZ” to AS/NZS2269- 2004) substrates.

Care and Maintenance
Keep Your Floors Looking New.
All flooring materials need cleaning and maintenance on a regular basis. Regular care lengthens the life of your floor, can help ensure your warranty will be honoured, and keeps the surface looking its best.
- Simply use a broom or vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dry dirt.
- Then use a microfibre mop to clean sticky spots or tougher dirt.
- Wring out the microfibre mop head well and damp-mop the floor.
- Every month give your floor a more intensive clean by double wash it and apply a protective layer to your floor.
Tips For Protecting Your Timber Floor:
- Use cold water never hot/warm water.
- Use damp microfibre mops, never wet or soaking.
- Never use a steam cleaner on your flooring, only damp mopping.
- Wipe spills and dampness immediately (liquid spills, pets’ water bowls or plant pots could hide water underneath!)
- Lift furniture and never drag them along the floor.
- Use felt pads on chairs, tables, stands and the like.
- Have mats at entry points to your home.
- Stones caught up on shoe soles can damage floors.
